Skye Layson is the founder of Layson Financial Planning. Skye “grew up in the business” watching her parents start and continue to successfully own a financial firm here in Macon. In 2015, Skye graduated from Georgia Southern University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance along with a Minor in Business Management. In 2016, Skye became licensed to sell life insurance and annuity products, and does so through her partner company, Layson Advisory Group. In 2019, Skye received her Series 65 registration, and became an investment advisor representative with Gradient Advisors, LLC. Soon after, she started Layson Financial Planning. Skye works with clients by offering financial planning services as a way to help client’s investment accounts work together towards achieving their ultimate goals both now and in retirement. She works with clients from all stages of life to address their financial futures. Skye is also very passionate about Empowering Women as being a woman in this industry is somewhat unique. Skye is held to a fiduciary standard, meaning she is legally bound to put her clients’ best interests first.
